Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Grand Seiko, SBGH281 pays homage to the iconic 44GS from 1967. The design of the 44GS was the first ever expression of the uniquely Japanese Grand Seiko Style, which to this day remains emblematic of the brand. In honor of the 60th anniversary, the Grand Seiko symbol is rendered in gold and the seconds hand in a vivid red, colors that together symbolize sunrise and all the energy that a new dawn brings. SBGH281 is powered by the high-frequency Hi-Beat Caliber 9S85, which runs at 36,000 bph, delivers an accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds a day, and has a 55-hour power reserve. This is a limited edition of 1,500 pieces.
